Connecting Streamable HTTP MCP clients

The 0mcp Setup page generates the hosted endpoint, client-specific configuration, and required authentication details. A client must support remote Streamable HTTP MCP servers and receive any credential expected by the selected upstream operations.

Before connecting

Confirm the server and credential model first.

  • Publish a server version
  • Review operation-level authentication
  • Store secrets in environment variables or a secure client store
  • Choose the matching client setup guide

Connection checks

If connection succeeds but tools are missing, inspect publication and discovery separately.

  • Restart or reconnect after configuration changes
  • Confirm the endpoint is the intended server
  • Confirm a version containing the capability is published
  • Check client support for remote Streamable HTTP
